In Speed by Tom C, one person chooses Invite a friend to get a link and sends it to their partner. The invitation opens in the iPhone app when installed or on the website otherwise. After both players select a preset name and join, they play in real time on their own screens. No account is required, and the website works without a download.

Why Speed works for couples

The core rule is simple: play a card that's one rank higher or lower than the center pile. Ace wraps to King. If you need the full version, the rules page covers everything.
